What should I bring for a pre-purchase inspection?
The vehicle, the seller's permission for the inspection, and if possible the ownership and the Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP). Service records help too.
Can an inspection guarantee a used car has no problems?
No. An inspection identifies the concerns that can be observed and tested on the day. It cannot guarantee that a vehicle is free from hidden or future defects.
